A reader writes in the following:
Hello…need info please. I have been on MMs for about 10 days. Started with one drop and increased one drop every dose. When I got to 7 drops, had extreme loose bowels that lasted for about 10 hours. Next dose I decreased a drop and was ok all the way up to 13 drops. then had extreme loose bowels and nausea for about 10 hours. Dropped back one drop to 12 and still experienced problems. Then went back another drop to 11 this morning and am still having bad effects. can you offer any assistance? I don’t want to discontinue using the product, but am feeling real lousy.
This is a GREAT question!
What you are experiencing is the effect of chlorine dioxide oxidizing something that is acidic, toxic, or parasitic that is already in your body. If they weren’t there, you’d not feel any discomfort at all.
I’ll ask you to go back and re-read the section in the article that goes under the subtitle, “Why Must I Feel Sick?” You are experiencing what that passage is referring to. But while the feeling is lousy indeed, it’s a good thing.
It DOESN’T feel good when the residue left by the pathogens are oxidized. That’s why they do harm. We experience FEELINGS as a sign, an indicator of the healthiness or compatibility with us. Pathogens enter our body undetected through many avenues, but mostly, through the imbalance caused by toxicity and cell oxygen depletion. They get comfortable and start doing their thing. We rationalize the feeling of occasional illness or disease as “normal,” when in fact, it is not. Being healthy is the body’s normal state.
It is important to KNOW that by being present in our body, said pathogens are doing greater, longer term harm, and are not benefiting us at all.
The lousy feeling SEEMS as though it will last an eternity. It won’t. But its duration is dependent on you; not only the level of toxicity or infestation in your body, but your determination and will to remove it, and your willingness to accept the lousy feeling and allow it to pass, rather than simply not continue the cleanse.
Once your body has expelled the toxicity, you’ll feel the difference.
In either event, you won’t know what experiences you missed. If you give up on the “disinfecting,” even though there is ample evidence that there is something that needs to be removed, you won’t know the health that you missed regaining. On the other hand, if you continue the cleansing, you won’t know the more acute disease that you had stopped creating.
It’s always up to you.
One other thing. There are other natural ways to remove pathogens and toxicity, such as living clay (with calcium bentonite being particularly effective), which can be drank and used topically. However, I’ve not yet seen one as flexible as the MMS protocol in terms easy of dosing, intake (there’s a limit to the amount of clay you can drink at one time in order to get a stronger effect), and economy.
Patience will serve you well in whatever option you choose.
I’m going to post this reply to my blog too… this is one of the most common experiences with MMS, and in truth, it is a good sign for you and your health.

We’re taking MMS and are having even more energy in the body, but it does not take the place of good nutrition.
I take two huge teaspoons of super food a day dissolved in a glass of juice. If we ate well (organic, sun ripen, fresh, raw food,) our bodies would be in better condition and we would not need to take MMS – an industrial disinfectant.

Just wondering about your connection with James Bryant. Do you know if his mother lived near Nashville or if he ever worked for the railroad? I think I may have known him.
